Recently, Yizhou Branch of Hechi City Public Security Bureau took more than half a year to crack a new network pyramid scheme involving many provinces and cities across the country, involving more than 300 million yuan and 3.5 million members.
At present, Yizhou police have arrested 13 people involved in the case, including 7 arrested, 5 released on bail pending trial and 1 handed over.
The suspect was arrested and brought to justice.

On April 3 this year, Yizhou Branch of Hechi City Public Security Bureau received a report from the masses: someone in the jurisdiction was on the "WedoTalk" to expand its membership in the form of attracting people to pay fees, and obtained the virtual reward "Dimension Coin" and company shares issued by the platform, which was suspected of pyramid selling activities.
After receiving the report, Yizhou Branch quickly called the elite police to carry out the case investigation. After preliminary investigation, this is a new network pyramid scheme involving more than 20 provinces and cities across the country, involving millions of people and hundreds of millions of yuan.
After the case was reported, the Hechi City Public Security Bureau quickly set up the "4 3" organization to lead the MLM case task force, mainly focusing on the Economic Investigation Brigade of Yizhou Branch, and transferred various police types and multi-departmental joint operations from the county and district public security bureaus in Hechi City.
After the establishment of the task force, it quickly concentrated the superior police force to carry out the case study and judgment. After more than a month’s efforts, it finally mastered the framework structure, hierarchical connection and operation mode of this criminal gang and collected a lot of evidence materials.
After careful control, on May 22, Hechi City Public Security Bureau organized more than 100 police officers to rush to Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. With the strong assistance of the local police, 13 major suspects, including Jiang Mohang and Shi Moli, who were hidden in a certain place in Guangzhou, were arrested, and a number of crime tools such as computers, mobile phones and mobile storage devices were seized. After further interrogation and investigation, the case gradually surfaced.
On August 7, 2019, the suspects Jiang Mohang and Shi Moli jointly established Guangdong micro poly Technology Co., Ltd., engaged in internet business such as software development and technology promotion. In December 2020, Jiang Mohang and Shi Moli developed a "Dimension" App with instant chat, online conference, community management and live broadcast in the name of the company.
In order to quickly lock in and develop the volume of users, Jiang Mohang, Shi Moli and others have developed a pyramid scheme of pulling people’s heads to develop levels and registering online for rebates, promoting virtual services through the in-house purchase function of the software and distributing the reward "dimension coins" and stocks set by the platform. In July 2021, Jiang Mohang and others officially promoted the operation of the "Dimension" App.
Jiang Mouhang is the chairman, Shi Mouli is the president, and Liu Moumou is the legal representative. The company has also set up administrative departments, financial departments, marketing departments, technical departments, corporate propaganda departments, training departments and other departments, and Zhou, Zhong Motao, Huang Mobin and others are responsible for the above departments and serve the "Dimension" App pyramid scheme.
Hierarchical development of members
In November, 2021, Lu, who worked in a company in Yizhou, Hechi, met Chen Mou, a man from Guangzhou, when he was in Guangzhou for business talks. During the chat, Chen Mou recommended the "Dimension" App to Lu and introduced its functions and service platform.
After downloading and using, Lu found that the "Dimension" App platform can build a group and live broadcast with goods, and senior members of the enterprise version can also withdraw high cash back after developing their members. Lumou was convinced that "Dimension" App was a high-tech product of the Internet under the temptation of Chen Mou, so he paid 10,000 yuan to buy a senior member of the enterprise edition.
Subsequently, Lu used the invitation code randomly popped up on the "Dimension" App to invite friends and relatives to scan the code and join the club. Sure enough, he got the corresponding rebate commission. After tasting the "sweetness", Lu did the same thing and increased his investment to become the general agent of "Dimension" App Yizhou.
On August 25, 2022, in order to better explore the market, Jiang Mohang came to Nanning, Guangxi through the introduction of Lu, and set up a subsidiary, so Lu became one of the top agents in Guangxi.
After the subsidiary landed, Lu accelerated the "development" of "Dimension" App in Guangxi. In less than two years, it has developed 160,000 members in Guangxi, with 49 levels, involving more than 70 million yuan.
The task force joined hands with multiple police types and departments for more than half a year, and used a variety of scientific and technological means to collect and fix a large amount of evidence materials, so that the "Dimension" App network pyramid scheme gang was caught in the net.
At present, the case is further improving the relevant evidence materials and is under trial for transfer.

According to the police investigating the case, when promoting the "Dimension" App and attracting people to join it, Jiang Mohang, Shi Moli and others often fabricate and exaggerate the functions, market prospects, business opportunities and profit margins of the App by holding investment fairs, organizing tours, locking customers in groups, and giving online lectures in China, and spare no effort to publicize the business model of the head office, on the grounds that the higher the membership level, the more rebates they get from the platform.
In the propaganda, the gang constantly preached under the banner and label of e-commerce, virtual currency, national brand project, etc., covering up its essence of making profits by developing offline, making participants lose their minds, and spared no effort to promote App packages among relatives and friends to attract people and get rewards for their achievements, becoming accomplices and participants in online pyramid schemes.
The police reminded that the current online pyramid selling activities are characterized by strong concealment, wide spread, rapid development, mixed participants and large amount of money involved. If the masses find pyramid schemes, please actively collect relevant clues and report to the relevant departments as soon as possible. If you find yourself cheated to participate in pyramid schemes, please pay attention to collecting and saving remittance vouchers, names, telephone numbers, internet accounts and other relevant evidence clues of introducers and online personnel, and provide them to the public security organs in time.
