The students who have just graduated from the campus are full of expectation to open career life, but they encounter salary arrears and social security payment. Recently, the Civil Trial Chamber of the People’s Court of Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone mediated two labor dispute cases, which not only safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of workers, but also demonstrated the role of grass-roots courts in maintaining social harmony and stability with efficient judicial services.
Sun and Jiang are fresh graduates. At the beginning of job hunting, they established contact with the defendant company through recruitment software, and the two sides quickly signed a labor contract. After training, the two successfully joined the job. I thought I could work hard with peace of mind after I joined the company, but in reality I gave Sun Mou and Jiang a "heavy punch". After joining the company, the company not only failed to pay their labor remuneration in full and on time as agreed, but also failed to pay social insurance for Sun according to law. After repeated communication failed, in order to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, Sun and Jiang appealed to the court.
After the case was accepted, the judge in charge fully considered the rights protection dilemma of Sun and Jiang as fresh graduates and the actual business dilemma faced by the enterprise, and adhered to the principle of "mediation is the priority and the case is settled". On the one hand, the judge patiently listened to Sun and Jiang’s demands and sorted out the key evidence of the case; On the other hand, actively communicate with the defendant company, explain the relevant laws and regulations, and clarify the illegal consequences of unpaid wages and unpaid social security.
After several rounds of communication and coordination, the plaintiff and the defendant finally reached an agreement: the defendant company paid the wages owed to Sun Mou and Jiang Mou, the economic compensation for unpaid social security and other losses in one lump sum. At this point, the labor dispute has been satisfactorily resolved.
The successful mediation of this case not only safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of the parties, but also reflected the positive actions of the Economic Development Court in resolving labor disputes, optimizing the business environment and safeguarding social fairness and justice. In the future, the Economic Development Court will continue to play its judicial role, providing a solid judicial guarantee for workers’ rights protection and the healthy development of enterprises, and contributing to the construction of a harmonious and stable social environment.
