"I also learned about my professional development prospects and made some plans."
Li Sisi (pseudonym), a freshman in the humanities experimental class of Zhejiang University, is both looking forward to and worried about college life. "This is a brand-new environment. I consulted my cousin who is in college, and she suggested that I must learn foreign languages well and pay more attention to the relevant information of this major among the freshmen, including the curriculum, the requirements for postgraduate study and the situation of clubs. During my summer vacation, I occasionally recited CET-4 words, watched English dramas and American dramas, and simply learned guitar and swimming.

Li Liguo, deputy dean of the School of Education, Renmin University of China, believes that freshmen should make two plans, one for professional study and the other for future development. "Career planning-oriented learning planning must be done well. Higher education is going to be popularized soon, so we should decide whether to work directly, study as a graduate or study abroad in the future. If college students’ study planning and career planning are not done well, they will be very confused, and they don’t know why they study and where the future direction is. "

According to the survey, 76.4% of the college students surveyed regard the university as a new starting point for their life struggle, and 80.3% of the freshmen agree with it.
Yang Xin, assistant counselor of Hunan Normal University, regards the university as an important turning point in life. "The struggle of young people really begins. The shaping of a person by a university is very strong, and college students should find out what they are fighting for, and never relax or give up. "
"The study in high school was very tense. As soon as they entered the university, many students relaxed, which had a bad influence on their future development." Li Liguo analysis, high school education is in the basic education stage, mainly for quality education, learning basic cultural knowledge. However, university education is a stage of professional education, and it is an important starting point for future career development, which is linked with professional learning and future career development.

"At the beginning of the school year, all colleges will issue new students’ bags, which contain some introductions, including teachers of this major, training programs, experiences and messages of brothers and sisters, etc. At the opening ceremony, there will also be teachers telling everyone how to make psychological changes. " Krishna Kumari suggested that freshmen should actively adjust their mentality, have new goals and struggle directions, and cultivate their self-study ability and self-management ability. “‘ Read thousands of books and Wan Li Road ’ Universities should not only study, but also participate in social practice. Modern society needs compound talents. "

"An important gap between China and developed countries is that the number of our courses is insufficient to meet students’ individualized development needs. There is also material security. The dormitory for college students in China is still relatively tight, and living facilities such as accommodation, canteens and bathrooms should also be improved. " Li Liguo reminded that college students should study hard, make career and academic plans, actively participate in various social activities and campus associations, and improve their social skills. "Don’t indulge in online games, exercise actively and have a strong body".
